Writing more
I want to try and slow down and actually produce some handcrafted content. My job nowadays is so much just prompting an AI model, and it feels like my field is in a mad rush to inject AI into every workflow possible. Going on Twitter/X nowadays is also so disheartening, just endless replies on every thread of soulless generated responses. Same thing with Reddit too. A greater percentage of posts themselves also feel repetitive and generic, not to mention how many of them are just thinly-veiled ads. Just endless heaps of garbage.
Instead of consuming all that crap, I'm hoping to actually start working out my writing muscle, and produce the kind of writing I miss running into on the internet. I know it's still out there, and I want to contribute to it. It kind of feels nice to have my own little site here in the corner of the internet where I can put up whatever I want. And I would hate for my writing skills to atrophy as I just rely more and more on AI generated content. Cause as we all know, writing is thinking.
